Who We Are

We Are Sons of the South, raised to respect our elders, ourselves, and all the natural wonders found on the doorstep of our family home in Southwest Virginia, and beyond.
We are the latest - but not the last - generation of a strong Southern bloodline of tobacco farmers, quail flushers, rabbit chasers, turkey callers, trout seekers. Raised by parents who placed family a narrow first over nature, who understood that teaching a boy respect for God’s smallest creatures would set him down the path to becoming a good man. 
We are found each spring gobbling for turkeys in the mountains around our family cabin in Bath County; in winter chasing reds and quail through the Low Country; in summer casting for tarpon on the flats of the Keys; and in fall stalking whitetail on the same land where our great-grandfather bagged his first deer.
We are drawn to the land, bound by the hunt, and guided by tradition. We wear our forever Southern hearts on our sleeves, and our company motto on our backs: Live Your Life On-Point.
What We Do
As the Hawthorne brothers, we live life full-tilt, top-speed, and on-point. We’ve been blessed to grow up with access to amazing hiking trails, pristine trout streams, fertile hunting grounds, and a family who’d rather spend a weekend stalking turkeys than stalking the mall.
As On-Point Outfitters, we honor that way of life by creating quality clothing and gear for people who share our passion for an active outdoor lifestyle.
Our designs are rooted in southern sporting tradition, built to last, and emblazoned with colors to remind you of crisp mornings, blazing sunsets, winging quail, thrashing tarpon, and flat blue water.
